  • portfolio of work
  • proficient in English (or Czech)
  • minimum 2 year commitment to work for BIS
  • willing to live in the Czech Republic


2D artist - texturist

  • Adobe Photoshop experienced user
  • familiar with making realistic textures for 3D models (UV sets)
  • knowledge of digital photography and theory of colors

3D artist - modeler

  • routine work in modeling SW (MAX, MAYA, Cinema4D or Oxygene)
  • familiar with surface lighting, effective polygon use, UV sets, mesh optimalisation
  • knowledge of recent real-time lighting methods and shaders
  • scripting experience (e.g. MAX script, Flash, Java)

3D artist – animator

  • requirements similar as “modeler”, routine work in SW MAYA
  • familiar with animated organic models (skeleton setup, skinning) and realistic movement animation
  • knowledge of human anatomy and biomechanics

Designer

  • focus on and building of game world and gameplay principles
  • ability to self-solve problems (trouble-shooter)
  • willingness to learn and develop new techniques
  • experience with scripting, game configuration, mission editing and other free tools distributed by BIS (Visitor)
